Answer

There are several ways to pay your library fines: by cashcard / Ez-link card, by NETS or by cheque. Payment by cashcard or Ez-link card is available at the Self-Service Fines Payment booth. Payment by NETS is avaiable at the Loans Desk.

By cashcard / Ez-link card
Please use a common bearer cashcard / Ez-link card for payment in the library. At the Self-Service Fines Payment booth, you will be prompted to enter your matriculation/staff/library membership card number and the fines will be deducted accordingly from the card.  Please ensure that you have sufficient funds in your cashcard / Ez-link card as all fines will be deducted in one transaction.

Cashcard and Ez-link card payments are available at Central Library, C J Koh Law Library, Hon Sui Sen Memorial Library, Medical Library and Science Library. Music Library has cashcard payment of fines only.

Please keep your receipt as proof of payment.

By NETS
Payment using NETS is available at the Loans Desk Counter 4, Central Library only.

By cheque
You may write a cheque for the total fines payable to "National University of Singapore" and hand it to the library staff at the Loans Desk of any of the six NUS libraries. You can also mail the cheque to:

Associate University Librarian, Loans and Membership Services
Central Library
National University of Singapore
12 Kent Ridge Crescent
Singapore 119275

Please be sure to write your name and membership number on the reverse side of the cheque. Payments made by cheque will only be credited after clearance by the bank.

By cash
Payment by cash is available to students only. Please request for an invoice from the Student Service Centre at Yusof Ishak House.

Fill in the invoice and make payment at the Student Service Centre. To clear fines immediately, return a copy of the invoice to the Loans Desk. Otherwise, the fines will be automatically deducted from your account after 1.00pm on the next working day.

Please keep your receipt as proof of payment.
If you require further assistance regarding the payment of fines, please do not hesitate to approach the library staff at the Loans Desk (or call 6872-0236 during office hours).
