How do I access databases like Construction InfoNet, Patsnap, Lloyd's Law Reports, manupatra etc?
The majority of databases are accessed through the same way, by using NUSNET ID and password.
However some resources requires some additional steps
A few resources like Construction InfoNet (by BCA), Journal of Risk, SciFinder and Patsnap , IHS Standards expert , Statlink , i-law etc require a free one-time registration first. See the appropriate library records for details on how to do so. Once you have the username and password, click on the links to the resource in the library record.
Harvard Business School Case studiesand ivey cases - Library does not subscribe to case studies from Harvard Business Review.
Please note that some databases allow a limited number of concurrent accesses at one time (e.g CEIC Database manager, British Standards Online etc) so you may not be able to access the database even if you login correctly. Even if you do have access, the library may not subscribe to full-text of every article in the database.
Note : Some faculties & schools such as Law and Business have subscribed to their own online resources such as WestLaw and Lawnet, Wharton Research Data Services etc which are accessible only to their staff and faculities. These resources are administered by those schools or faculties and are independent of the library, any questions about access should be directed to those schools or faculties. See this
