After installing EndNote and opening Microsoft Word, I do not see the EndNote toolbar, ribbon or commands under the Tools menu. How can I fix this?

There are two possible solutions you can try.
First, close your EndNote programme, then go to All Program>EndNote>Configure EndNote and complete the steps.
If that doesn't work, click on the round Office Button at the top left corner of Word, and click on Word Options at the bottom right corner. Go to Advanced>Add Ins, and check whether the Com Add-In (Type) called EndNote Cwyw (Name) has been disabled under Disabled Application Add-Ins (scroll to the bottom). If it has been disabled, go to the bottom of that Add-Ins screen and Click on Manage>Disabled Items>Go. There will be a listing of disabled items. Double click on EndNote Cwyw and that will enable the Add-In. Close and then reopen Word, and the EndNote toolbar should have been restored.
If you install EndNote before installing your copy of Microsoft Word, it's possible that neither solutions will work. In that case, you will need to uninstall EndNote and reinstall.
