All current NUS staff and students are automatically members of NUS Libraries. Please note that NUS Libraries serves primarily the students and staff of NUS. Non members who wish to use the library may apply for external membership.
On a case by case basis we allow external users with research needs to apply for membership to use the libraries' collections, providing use does not conflict with our primary responsibility to members of the NUS community. There are two types of external memberships: 1) Personal and 2) Corporate (for Singapore SMEs only).
New A*Star staff who are not also NUS staff or student will also have to join as personal members, please contact us for details.
For personal memberships, NUS alumni are offered a discounted rate.
Please note that all external Library Membership cannot access our subscribed electronic resources.
