Web of Science no longer supports Internet Explorer (IE) 6 or 7 or IE 8 or 9 when running in Compatibility View. The following pop-up window will appear advising the user to upgrade the browser or turn off Compatibility View.
For IE 8 or 9 users:
- Hit F12 key and look under Browser Mode IE8 Compat View. Notice that the menu Internet Explorer 8 Compatibility View is automatically checked:
2. Select the option Internet Explorer 8 instead. Close this browser.
3. A new WoS screen will appear. The other features including Journal Citation Reports, Essential Science Indicators and EndNote should now display correctly in IE:
