There are several maps made available on Historical Maps of Singapore ( To cite the maps, please follow the steps below:

1. In the menu, there is a hamburger icon on the right of each map. Click on it.

2. Click on 'Metadata' in the revealed drop-down menu.

3. There will be a pop-up with the relevant information about the map. Scroll down to 'Suggested Citation' to find how to cite that particular map. For example, this is the suggested citation for the 1846 map:
