When you make available your course readings on Canvas, the library will assist you in:-

  • checking copyright compliance;
  • adding copyright notices; and
  • ensuring records are kept by your department as required by the Statutory License under section 198 of the Copyright Act.

If you wish to upload the document onto LumiNUS on your own, you are required to comply with the requirements under section 198 of the Copyright Act. For more information please contact the Office of Legal Affairs through your Dean’s office.
