NUS Students / Staff are required to be on the NUS Campus Network before the booking of library facilities (such as Discussion Rooms or Project Rooms) can be done.
On Campus: Go directly to online Facility Booking System.
Off Campus:
- Step 1: Connect to NUS VPN via NUS nVPN
- Step: 2: Go to Facility Booking System to do your booking.
Terms and Conditions:
- Booking is open to a group of 2 to 8 NUS students or staff who need to work together on a project relating to a study module.
- Booking is done online via Facilities Booking or same-day walk-in request for unused rooms.
- Users are required to book the room before use.
- Advanced booking (not more than 14 days) is allowed. The Library reserves the right to offer the rooms to users who have not made any previous bookings.
- Each user is allowed one booking per week.
- Each booking period is for a maximum of 3 hours at a time. Note Library's opening/closing hours and book within these hours.
- The library reserves the right to void a booking if the room is not occupied by the person who has placed the request after 10 minutes of the booked time.
- Users must not move any furniture from or into the room.
- Users should conduct their discussion activities in the room in a considerate manner so as not to disturb other users of the library.
- Users must remove all trash or waste from the room when checking out.
- Users may not leave any personal belongings or unborrowed library books in the room. The library is not responsible for the loss of such items.
- The Library maintains the right to access the room at all times to conduct spot checks and / or maintenance and repairs.
- Any damage to furniture must be reported immediately to the Service Desk.
- The main applicant must furnish the matriculation or membership numbers of the other users of the room.
- Please note that library staff may conduct spot checks on bookings. Any wrong information or the understating of the number of users, if found, result in applicant and friends being barred from applying again.
- Booking is not available during Public Holidays when the library is closed.
- Please note library opening hours. All rooms must be vacated half an hour before library closing time.
- No subletting.
- No smoking, eating, or drinking.
- No sticking of personal materials onto the walls of the room.
- Suspension or fines for misuse of the room.
- Management reserves the right to modify terms and conditions without prior notice. All library rules and regulations apply.
