You can return:

  • 📚 Main shelf books
  • 📖 Bound journals
  • 📚 Books and bound journals from closed stacks
  • ✅ Books borrowed from one NUS Library to another

Do NOT return these to the book drop:

  • 📕 RBR items
  • 📀 CD/DVD ROMs, AV materials (e.g., DVDs)
  • 🎞️ Microforms
  • 📄 Theses and academic exercises
  • 🎼 Music scores
  • 🔗 Items from inter-library loans (non-NUS Libraries)

ℹ️ Important Notes:

  • Items in book drops are not cleared instantly; staff clear them about once an hour.
  • If returned when the library is closed, items will be cleared the next day and backdated to the time of return.
  • If you need an item cleared immediately, return it to the loans counter.
