You can use the respective e-forms at the library portal to recommend books, journals, and media materials not available in the library.
While this service is free to library users, please note the e-forms are only a recommendation for the library's consideration; click here for more information about acquisitions in NUS Libraries.
To access the e-forms for recommending materials unavailable in the library:
If the item status is already On Order, it means someone else has already requested for the same item, but you can reserve it.
2. Click on the More Services For ... link and select the correct user group.
3. Under New Materials Recommendation, select Recommend Books, Recommend Journals or Recommend Multimedia Materials/CD-ROMs.
4. Fill in the form with details of the item you are requesting.
You will receive an email notification once the item is available in the library.
