The print copies of Singapore Standards (e.g. Codes of Practice, Technical References & Eurocodes) are located at Central Library, Level 5, Singapore-Malaysia Collection (SMC), opposite the ASEAN corner. While these are current standards, any changes made to the print standards after their publication are not reflected. Hence, you are strongly advised to check for amendments via the Singapore standards eShop website or the Singapore standards database which NUS Libraries has subscribed to.
Older, outdated or withdrawn standards are kept in the Closed Stacks, which are internal storage areas not accessible to users. To obtain a standard from closed stacks, place an online request first. For procedures, see https://libfaq.nus.edu.sg/faq/71255
Note that print copies of Singapore Standards (regardless of location) can only be viewed in the library.
For a complete collection of Singapore Standards, visit the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library (LKCRL), which is situated on Level 7 of the National Library Building (NLB) at Victoria Street. NLB also has an electronic database of Singapore and ISO Standards Collection which is accessible via their multimedia stations in all their libraries.
For more information about Standards, refer to our Standards Subject Guide.
